Stop Stress before it leads to burn out! Many of us experience health issues that can limit our enjoyment of life and even what we feel able to do. While it is not always possible to prevent or stop these issues, we can change the way we think about them and learn ways of managing them leading to increased resilience.
Stress is also a feature in many people’s lives and while some stress can be helpful (for example it can get us started on something we have been putting off), too much stress or stress over a long period of time can have a very negative impact on our health and well being, even causing illness.
Stress doesn’t just impact on the individual who has it. Often a ripple effect occurs when the stressed person becomes irritable, impatient or even angry with the important people in their lives – family, friends, work colleagues – damaging these relationships which are so important for health, wellbeing and happiness.
